Supergirl Legend

Supergirl Legend is an original acrylic painting on a 12" x 16" canvas — a portrait of a woman the world already knows, even if it hasn’t said so out loud. She gazes forward — direct, calm, entirely certain of herself. Her long platinum hair falls loosely around her face. Her eyes are warm brown, her lashes dark, her lips a bold, grounded red. She wears a white coat or jacket, open at the front, and beneath it the unmistakable red, yellow, and blue of the Superman crest — the iconic S bold and unapologetic at her chest. Behind her shoulder, a painted white wing curves into the composition, soft and feathered and utterly her own. The background is a warm deep brown, textured and earthy.
