Reading Rabbit

Meet Reading Rabbit — an original acrylic painting on a 12" x 12" canvas that is a love letter to books, beauty, and a very well-dressed hare. She reclines in an attitude of complete absorption, dressed in a voluminous golden-yellow gown with a ruffled white lace collar, a pink rosette tucked behind one long ear, and the most delicate lace cuffs — a small red book held open in her paw, pages fanning as though the story itself cannot wait to be read. Against a deep forest green background with a warm amber column at her side, she has all the gravitas and charm of an Old Master portrait. Pure paint, pure story. A one-of-a-kind original by Branka, created once and never again.
