Tea Anyone?

Tea Anyone? is an original acrylic and mixed-media painting on two separate 8" x 8" canvases — a playful, interactive diptych designed to be hung with the teapot above and the teacup below. A charming white ceramic teapot decorated with hand-painted blue flowers and green leaves tilts at a jaunty angle on the upper canvas, its spout aimed downward with cheerful intent. From its spout, a strand of real beads cascades in a glittering arc — crossing the gap between the two canvases and pooling gently into a deep navy blue teacup on its matching saucer below. The warm golden yellow background of the upper canvas meets the rich emerald green of the lower one, giving the diptych a bold, colour-blocked composition that is both graphic and whimsical.
