Fairy House 2 Three Topiaries is an original acrylic painting on an 11" x 6" board — a tall, narrow slice of a neighbourhood that exists somewhere between a fairy tale and a summer afternoon. Three buildings crowd cheerfully together: a bold pink house on the left, a wide turquoise house with a purple mansard roof in the centre, and a warm golden yellow house on the right — each with white-framed windows and the slightly lopsided, lovingly imperfect proportions of a place that has grown organically over many years.
